The best occasions in Wisconsin for fireworks viewing and having a lot of fun abound are these:

Participating cities in 2025 include Altoona (July 3), Appleton (July 3), Baraboo (July 4), Chippewa Falls (July 4), Eau Claire (July 4), Fond du Lac (July 4), Green Bay (July 4), Hartford (July 4), Kenosha (July 4), Kimberly (July 3), Madison (July 3), Manitowoc (July 4), Mauston (July 4), Menasha (July 4), Muskego (July 4), Neenah (July 4), New Berlin (July 4), New London (July 4), Onalaska (June 28), Oshkosh (July 4), Portage (July 4), Racine (July 4), Sheboygan (July 4), and Wausau (July 4).

Milwaukee’s July 4th festivities include fireworks displays with Live entertainment, children’s activities, and concessions that complement the vast exhibit that is visible practically everywhere in the city.

– Fourth on the Shore (Manitowoc): This July 4th maritime festival features fishing competitions, food, music, and a fireworks display on the waterfront. The USS Cobia and Wisconsin Maritime Museum are also worth a visit.

  • Firework-filled summer festivals

Several summer events in Wisconsin feature exhilarating fireworks performances as part of their line of entertainment distinguished from the Fourth of July.

Running, sports championships, a carnival, live music, a parade, and a fireworks show are all part of the fun weekend of Mount Horeb Summer Frolic (June 12-15, 2025).

– Located in Stevens Point, Riverfront Rendezvous: This multi-day event usually around the Fourth of July includes live music, a water ski show, a basketball game, meals, and a magnificent fireworks display.

– The Fourth of July celebration at Liberty Fest (Chetek) consists of a parade as well as a professional fireworks display set off from a floating stage on Lake Chetek.

Including fireworks in several of these festivals gives Wisconsin’s celebration schedule a lot of pizzazz and wonder. Local or visitor, make sure to see these major events for memorable moments full of entertainment and spectacular shows. As local event organizers may change schedules, keep in mind to verify dates and times.
